The Scots College
The Scots College is developing a partnership with the Panshir Valley Boys School. Year 9 Commerce students conduct a “small business day” and all profits from these businesses are forwarded directly to the Afghan school (this amounts to around $700 per semester).
In addition to this, a co-curricular activity group has commenced named the “Rebuilding Asia Project”. This small group of committed students from Year 7 to Year 11 meet on a weekly basis and have already organized considerable donations of carpet, clothing and stationery, with more to come in the terms ahead.
The RAP group also raises funds each term through special BBQs and chapel offertory.
